bigger force this season.
Matt Lucius pushes out to the staging
area for hotlaps. He is being pushed by Ludwig's new wheeler, which sports
a real bad-ass engine. I told Matt he should mount a wing on it & try
to hot-lap it.
Brock Mayes was back in his familiar
11B after a race in the Miller Rigging car. He came from the back

as Phil Gressman sits on the right-rear tire, and Mark Keegan checks out
the car.
Craig Mintz got a workout from the
kids after his 2nd place finish. Along with offering shirts and hats for
sale, Mintz gives out color handouts and refrigerator magnets free of charge.
He will soon add 10 inch rulers to that list. At one point Soup, his car
owner yelled, "Hey, little kids, what are ya doin' over there. The real
celebrities are over here," referring to the spot where he and Johnny Auxter
were sitting.
Byron Reed is firmly positioned at
the top of the standings at both Attica & Fremont, and he is now the

immediately after emerging from his victorious sprinter.

his family. Harrison has won at both Attica & Fremont in the same season
for the first time in his career in the Doug Ludwig owned car.
Fremont Speedway wrote a starting
position on each of 20 frisbees and threw them into the crowd. The holder
of the winning car's starting position then won $50. Here Dave pays the
happy winner. The same thing was done for all 3 features.
