Seneca County Hartzell Reunion
August 25, 2000

The Seneca County, Ohio, Hartzell reunion was held Saturday August 25, 2000 at the Poplar shelterhouse of Meadowbrook Park in Bascom. Over 100 relatives were in attendance. The reunion was open to all Hartzell/Hartsel families with an interest in their Seneca County roots.

A Hartzell and Seneca County memorabilia collection, and a family picture slideshow were on display. The walking bridge was lined with information about our ancestors, who arrived at Philadelphia in 1750. The walking bridge display also demonstrated how each of the 5 Seneca County Hartzell and Hartsel family branches are connected. The dinner prayer was led by the family's patriarch, Deacon Robert J. Hartzell of Tiffin.
